Is Witsby replacing Activate?
ASCD will discontinue Activate by 2024. Existing Activate customers will be grandfathered in at their current cost for the first Witsby subscription year. Activate customers should contact ASCD to discuss the right plan and timeline for their district's migration to Witsby. In the meantime, Activate users will continue to have access to the platform.
Are Witsby courses available for graduate credit?
Select Witsby courses are available for graduate-level credit in support of educator professional growth through our partnership with Northwest Nazarene University (NNU). Each credit is graduate-level, non-degree-seeking, semester credit, and can be used in states and districts that require credit for recertification or salary advancement. It is the learner's responsibility to verify that your district and state Department of Education will accept NNU credits.
