Rose Wan-Mui Chu is an ASCD Champion in Education and a 2005 Emerging Leader. She is the project lead for the Minnesota Teacher Marketing & Outreach Campaign and a professor emerita of Urban Education at Metropolitan State University. Since 2020, she has been a school board director at Roseville Area Schools, ­Minnesota.
